Prior to founding Tagga, Amielle was a marketing and corporate development executive active in the investment, mining and software market sectors for the previous 10 years. Her expertise is in working with small companies to develop marketing and growth plans and then devise means to capitalize them. Specific career milestones include working with Shell, Google and Microsoft to develop and deliver a range of marketing initiatives that included sponsorship programs, events and general PR content. As well, Amielle has raised close to $5,000,000 dollars in equity financing, government grants and sponsorship initiatives. Amielle is also a published author. Macmillan Palgrave Inc published her first book, The Elephant Hunters in 2008.
Scott is a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor. Amidst Scott’s many achievements include co-founding Avenue A | Razorfish (aQuantive) where he served as its Chief Technology Officer. aQuantive rapidly became the world's leading digital marketing technology and services company, helping advertisers and ad agencies intelligently build, market and grow their online and bricks & mortar businesses and brands. The company was sold to Microsoft in 2007 for $6 billion (the highest amount ever paid by Microsoft for any acquisition). Scott was responsible for the architecture, development and operation of aQuantive's extensive proprietary technology platform - as well as for building aQuantive's R&D lab, which focused on mobile, interactive TV and other emerging digital content & advertising platforms. Scott also played an active role in the company's IPO in February 2000.
Gary Roshak is a wireless industry pioneer and brings more than 20 years of experience in mobile, digital media, and interactive advertising experience to Tagga. Gary was most recently Vice President, Mobile Advertisers and Publishers, for Yahoo! Inc., where he had global responsibility for the company's mobile advertising and publishing strategy, products and business. Previously, he was Vice President and General Manager at Marchex, where he was responsible for Marchex's local advertising business, connecting tens of thousands of local advertisers to consumers as a leading search and call-based marketing platform provider for large local advertiser aggregators.
Kent is currently the CEO and Chairperson of SEVEN Technologies and a Director for Sierra Wireless. Kent has 17 years of international wireless telecommunications experience, including executive appointments with some of the largest mobile operators worldwide. Kent joined SEVEN from leading UK operator O2, where he served as Chief Data and Marketing Officer, President of O2 Online and a member of the Board of Directors. During his tenure, O2 grew to be the leading mobile data provider in Europe, with 21% of revenues from data services by the end of 2003, and a customer base with twice the industry average revenue per customer. He was responsible for launching the O2 brand across the O2 operating business, lauded by Accenture as the best brand launch in Europe, as well as the management and procurement of the 5 million devices sold annually. Prior to joining O2, Kent spent eight years in the Canadian mobile industry, holding the position of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Rogers Cantel (now Rogers Wireless). Prior to this he held management positions at Northern Telecom and Bell Canada.
Gary has held numerous executive leadership roles in software and wireless companies. Currently, he serves as a member of the Quicklogic (NASDAQ:Quik) Board of Directors and chairs the Audit Committee. Throughout Gary’s career, he has acted as CEO, President and Director for a number of companies that include Mobidia Inc., InfiniRoute Networks Inc., LongBoard Inc., and TollBridge Technologies, Inc. As well, Gary co-founded TollBridge and acted as the GM of Ramp Networks, Inc.
